SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTIONS : Directly responsible to the Assistant Manager, works closely with the other Tellers.

Receives deposits of payments on members accounts, cashes checks, sells travelers checks, money orders and cashier's checks, and honors requests for disbursements on line of credit and credit card accounts.

Responsible for the accomplishment of the credit union mission.

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED : High school diploma, ability to handle detail,a minimum of six months cash handling experience,10-key calculator by touch, and proficient computer skills in a WINDOWS environment required.

Financial institution experience helpful.

May be required to lift up to 60 pounds or stand for extended periods of time.

HOURS: Forty-hour work week to include Saturdays or Thirty-hour work week with rotating Saturdays.

RETAIL BANKING POSITIONS
We are currently working with multiple banks in the Chicagoland (city and all suburbs) that are looking for strong Retail Banking professionals from Tellers up to Branch Managers. Positions and brief job descriptions are listed below.

Branch Manager

Will be ultimately responsible for all sales goals given to the branch and the overall management of the operations of the branch. Must be able to coach and mentor a staff as well as have strong business development skills in both retail and commercial arenas.

Assistant Branch Manager

This position will support the Branch Manager in all operational aspects of the branch including, but not limited to, the management, coaching and training of the staff, customer relationship building, internal issues, audits, reviews, etc. Must have strong organizational skills as well as customer service skills.

Teller Manager

Supervise a staff of 15 to 25 full and part time tellers. Will be responsible for developing and maintaining schedules, writing and conducting reviews, handling disciplinary situations, hiring and termination of employees.

Personal Banker

Qualified candidates will be responsible for educating customers about bank services and products, opening new accounts such as Savings, Checking, IRA’s and CD’s, closing existing accounts, building customer relationships and assisting with maintaining their accounts.
