In the real estate fulfillment center, this role performs various administrative and support functions including adherence to RESPA, preparation and distribution of loan files, processing of fees and invoices, and distribution of incoming/outgoing mail.
Specifically, this is an entry level processing position within consumer real estate.
The Associate will process loans approved by an Underwriter or an automated decisioning system.
The SSS II will have limited signing authority limited to clearing conditions on loans previously approved.
This person will be responsible for, but not limited to: verifying conditions of approval which may include resolving routine title issues including, but not limited to the following: vesting issues and may processes subordinations; resolves appraisal disputes; depending on channel, may coordinate closing activities.
This role maintains a high level of customer service by being proactive in communication with customers, may include banking center associates, realtors, etc.Qualifying for this position requires at minimum high school diploma or its equivalent (college degree preferred) and 2 – 5 years of related experience.
The successful candidate has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within mortgage field.
This person relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, and works under immediate supervision.
Candidates must possess at least 1 year of mortgage experience.
