TEKsystems is currently in need of a release manager for a long term contract with our client in Hopewell, NJ. This individual will manage and track multiple projects.

Interface with clients and management.

Provide status and project reports.

Create and manage project plans.

Schedule and manage resources and tasks.

Publish communications on activities.

Manage risks and issues.

Candidate Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years experience with expertise in managing all phases of systems development from concept through implementation and maintenance utilizing tools such as MS Project.

Overall responsibility for structuring a project, performing detailed planning, managing project execution and completion of moderate or large projects.

Define the phase deliverables, track milestones and project costs, schedule roles and resources, evaluate risks and recommend contingency plans.

Manage the development of the technical strategy.

Assign resources and tasks, manage quality assurance, resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, develop standards, change control, client support, and compliance with all policies and procedures.

Late night and weekend work required as needed.
