This Candidate would support the Data Center Services (DCS) Business Relationship Managers (BRM) for building strong relationships with the teams and towards operational reliability, availability, and stability goals of Data Center Services.Responsibilities:- Service Delivery Initiative Support (.25 FTE): – Takes designed program tools like the business function mapping or infrastructure health check or process communication initiatives and develops detailed content using Remedy, Visio and Excel, and other tools with a future eye to automation and business intelligence.- Researches and validates basic data sources and content via interactions with BIO, IBM, DCS, and IMG plus Business Intelligence and APO teams and finalizes program items for distribution and communication.- Drafts PowerPoint presentations for California and Portfolio team for delivery to Forums, TaskForces, and DCS strategic meetings.- Develops, distributes, and analyzes the quarterly Monkey Customer Satisfaction surveys for California BRMs.- Critical Service Delivery Issue (.25 FTE): – Once top tier Steady-State Service escalations or issues are identified, receives direction from BRM on next steps toward researching details of issues, interfacing with DCS, BIO, IBM, IMG for reports or service delivery options and then documents, tracks, and reports on results. – Service Catalogue/Service Level Agreement/CMDB Support (.15 FTE):- Receives direction from BRM and coordinates California and Portfolio interface activities with principles within BIO and DCS and IMG to ensure that Service Catalogue and SLA California specific requirements are complete and provides any necessary content after validation to Service Catalogue or SLA team.- Reliability Management (.15 FTE):- Coordinates with APO and participates in Operations Incident/Problem Meeting and prepares California/BIO summary and indicates any trends noticed.- Participates in weekly Friday AM Critical and High Incident review meeting and identifies key trends and does high level weekly analysis for California in preparation for scorecard or weekly reports.- Coordinates and researches any DCS or Service Delivery hot spot reports related to DCS within California and reports results and next steps. – Innovation/Special Projects/Emergency Needs (.20 FTE):- Receives prioritized items from weekly team meeting to meet the needs of a critical issue or to develop a 30, 60, or 90 day deliverable.- Recommends innovative options to improve team efficiency.Required years of experience/ abilities:- 7 or more years of experience in Corporate Environment.- 7 or more years of IT background is preferred.- 7 or more years of experience in Support position on a team. – Some background in ITIL, Service Catalogue, Service Level Agreements or process work is a plus.- 1-3 years of experience in Architecture and Infrastructure. – 1-3 years of exper4ience in Change Management. – 1-3 years of experience in Librarian. – 1-3 years of experience in Lotus Notes 6.5. – 1-3 years of experience in Sametime. – 4-6 years of experience in Visio. – 4-6 years of experience in Windows XP. – Ability to analyze data, develop preliminary findings, and explain results in a clear and concise written and verbal communication.- Tracking and Reporting: Remedy or a comparable application; Excel including pivot tables and charts, Visio, PowerPoint, Word; and SharePoint expertise.- Ability to navigate across all organizations; initiate contact with all levels of personnel and management; gather needed data in a professional manner to complete critical tasks. – Ability to take on a new task or organizational structure and be able to educate self; find applicable resources; apply what is learned toward the successful accomplishment of any situation.
